Hi, I’m Mallory. Or Mal for short. Either works! I’m the Founder of Learn What Matters.

In March I turned 26. I was raised in Central NJ where I attended Freehold High School. Moved to Long Island to graduate from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in Business Management. Lived in Jackson Heights, NY for a short bit while working as an Associate in the Office of the CEO at Henry Schein, Inc.

In 2016, I crossed the coast to live in my dream location: the Bay Area. I began working at Google as an Administrative Business Partner in Search Ads in October 2018. Now I work with Google’s People Development team. I often volunteer as a crisis intervention counselor and mentor young people in personal and career development. Some of the places I’ve volunteered with are Crisis Text Line, Miracle Corners of the World, iTalent Digital’s Girls Leadership Academy Meetup, and different Stony Brook University programs.

Some of my favorite things are hiking, reading, writing, tattoos, passport stamps, wearing onesies, dancing in my car with the music blasting, shooting hoops, attending Hillsong Church, and cheering on the Golden State Warriors.

And now that you know a little bit about me, I’d love to get to know about you! Feel free to introduce yourself via email or through Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
